Manually operated permanent lift magnets offer high capacity for their size and cost.
Eriez' SafeHold Lift Magnets are deal for carrying semi-finished products with flat surfaces such as machine parts, press molds for forming, steel plate, etc. Manually turned ON and OFF by rotating a lever approximately 180 degrees.
These multiple pole permanent magnets require no power supply. They are available in eight models for even heavy lifts.
The following capacities allow a 2:1 safety factor:
- EPL-121 lifts flat steel up to 650 lbs (295 kg)
- EPL-154 lifts flat steel up to 4,000 lbs (1,814 kg)
- EPL-157 lifts flat steel up to 7,500 lbs (3,402 kg)
- EPL-197 lifts flat steel up to 10,000 lbs (4,536 kg)
