Restoration, Repair and Maintenance

We offer scheduled maintenance contracts, load testing, crane and runway modifications, motor rewinds, extensive retrofits, and equipment repairs of all makes and brands. If you have owned or purchased an existing crane which you would like to start using again, our technicians can help you.  Our specialty is crane modernization, repairing and restoring older hoists and cranes.  No matter what the condition, we have a solution for you.

Overhead Crane, Bridge Crane, Jib Crane Inspections

Advanced Crane & Hoist Services runs several service trucks per day providing overhead crane inspections, bridge crane inspections, jib crane inspections, and gantry crane inspections along with providing modernization, repair, service, and preventative maintenance for our customers in the greater Houston, Texas area.  We follow ANSI, OSHA and CMAA guidelines during our inspections, and we are beginning to move toward an electronic delivery of the final inspection survey.   We provide the required written documentation for periodic inspections and the frequent inspections per OSHA 1910.179.

Operator Training and Safety

With our Safety Experts training your employees, you'll be assured that your operators learn  the necessary skills to properly load and to properly operate your cranes, as well as learn to help maintain your crane instead of abuse your crane.  They'll also learn safety procedures and what to do in the event of an emergency.  OSHA requires crane operator certifications.  Advanced Crane & Hoist Services can work with you to certify your crane operators.  SAFETY is Rule #1.  Along with helping you to properly train and certify your operators, we also offer Forklift training.  We all want to work in a safe work-zone.  Call Advanced Crane and Hoist Services to discuss what it takes to meet your safety concerns and to meet the concerns of your working family. 

Preventive Maintenance Programs

Protect and maintain your material handling and lifting equipment with our tailored preventative maintenance services.  Our skilled technicians will come to see you at your convenience in order to inspect your equipment.  We can schedule quarterly, semi-annual, or annual inspections.  While there, we may be able to combine OSHA recommended safety training along with the inspection.  At the end of your inspection, you will be supplied with a copy of your inspection report.  This will convey important information such as what needs to be replaced, and what to expect in the coming months.  During the Preventive Maintenance inspection, we take the time to adjust the brakes and fine-tune the minor adjustments to your equipment.  A quality Crane Preventative Maintenance Program, such as one that we provide, is recommended and well worth your consideration.  We want to help you protect your investment in your overhead cranes, your jib cranes, and your hoists so that you get quality longevity  and quality production from your material handling equipment.

 Load Test, Load Testing

Upon installation, Start-up, and during any major modifications, all overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, and gantry cranes must have the hoists load tested.  Advanced Crane & Hoist Services provides Load Tests and Load Testing for your cranes and hoists in the greater Houston area.  We load test to 100 Tons for your material handling equipment.
